CHICAGO – Freshman forward Tyla Allen (Westinghouse H.S.) of the Malcolm X College women’s basketball team was selected as the Region IV Division I Player of the Week on December 10 after averaging 11.7 points, 11.0, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in three games.
