CHICAGO – The Malcolm X men’s basketball team opened its 2016-17 season with a pair of victories at its Tip-Off Classic as the Hawks defeated Ivy Tech Community College (Ind.) 98-49 on Friday and Robert Morris University JV 84-80 on Saturday afternoon.
