CHICAGO – Bashirah Muhammad (Catalyst Maria H.S.) and Christiana Simmons (Hyde Park Academy) of the Kennedy-King women’s basketball team posted the top-two scoring totals in Thursday’s game against visiting Moraine Valley Community College, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Statesmen to victory as they were denied 54-37.
