JOLIET, Ill. – The four sophomores on the Kennedy-King women’s basketball team – Kyaisha Hooks-Johnson (Rich East H.S.), Diamonie McKinney (Carver Military Academy), Destiny Richards (South Shore H.S.) and Christiana Simmons (Hyde Park Academy) – saw their careers with the Statesmen come to an end Saturday after KKC dropped a 65-39 decision to Sauk Valley Community College in the Region IV Division I semifinals at Joliet Junior College.
