The Hawks picked up their third straight win with a 81-49 victory over College of DuPage in front of their home crowd. Late in the second quarter however, it was anything but a blowout in the making as the Chaps trailed by just two points before the Hawks took over after halftime. "I think we're still getting used to each other," said Hawks Head Coach Kim McQuarter. "I think the second half against Priaire State it kind of clicked for them. It's just a matter of us doing a better job defensively that turns into offense for us." That is just what happened as the Hawks ended the game with 21 defensive rebounds, 23 steals and seven blocked shots.
