FREEPORT, Ill. – Nearly earning its first Region IV Division I Tournament title since the 1998-99 season, the Kennedy-King men’s basketball team overcame a six-point deficit in the final half minute to force overtime before coming up short in an 89-86 setback to Highland Community College in the championship Monday night at Highland.
