CHICAGO – In his lone season as a member of the Richard J. Daley College men’s basketball team in 2016-17, Demetrius Pointer established himself as one of the best all-around players on the roster. Equally successful in the classroom, Pointer has a 3.32 cumulative grade-point average and is on track to earn an Associate of Arts degree in August.
